RunAbout Cycles has just opened a brand new shop, in Fort Collins Colorado, USA! We have a new Facility where we design, build, and sell new Electrically assisted recumbent trikes, long bikes, and conversions. We have a new Electric cargo bike as well. We are ready to serve the Fort Collins, Boulder, and Denver areas for Electric bicycle Sales and Service.

Our founder, Josh Kerson has 20 years of experience in all facets of the cycling industry. Josh holds a BA in entrepeneurial business and appropriate vehicle design from the University Massachusetts, Amherst. He's on the cutting edge when it comes to what he loves to do: helping people get the most value, exercise and enjoyment out of riding! Currently we are thankful to have a small group of people, volunteering and working in various aspects of the business.

Do you currently have bikes available?:
We do have Trikes available, and are custom building to customers request. Call us or email for more information. We are hand building our SpinCycle Electric-Human-Hybrids in our Fort Collins, Colorado workshop.
Custom bikes and trikes have about a five week lead time.

Where can I ride it?:
The RunAbout Cycles SpinCycle is classified as an Electric Bicycle, and can be used anywhere a bicycle is permitted, secondary roads, bike paths, golf cart trails, in town, back roads, boardwalks, velodromes, Race tracks, and ever more Rail trails around the country.

How fast is it?:
The RunAbout Cycles SpinCycle meets the federally mandated electric bike classification of 20 miles per hour maximum speed with a 750 watt motor. Riders can expect a 18-20 mile an hour run for about two hours per charge. Charging takes about three hours, with about 10 cents worth of electricity.

What's the range?:
Solely using the electric motor the range is approximately forty miles. The more and harder you pedal, the more milage you will get out of the batteries.

Can you modify my existing bike with your Custom Electric Assistive Technology?
